The HT-4 western red cedar hot tub is ideal for 3 to 4 people. It comes standard
with 4 jets and holds 352 gallons of water. Filled, the hot tub weighs 3,300 lbs. You can
heat it with wood, propane or electricity. By far the propane heater is the fastest,
heating the water in just a couple of hours. It comes with a 5.5 KW Electric Heater as

Topside LED controls prevents
auxiliary control options such as lights and jets from freezing and provide heating
accuracy that is +/- one degree.

You
have the choice of one of 12 colors to choose from for your hot tub cover. Our Northern
Elements marine vinyl covers are made from 4" heavy-duty tapered foam which
offers an R-14 level of insulation. They come with tie downs including
keyed lock fasteners (Child Proof Locks). All covers have an aluminum C
channeling and are made from 1.5lb high density insulating foam which will support up to
400 lbs of static weight. Comes with a 2 year manufacturer’s warranty.

This electric system includes two Balboa 5.5Kw heater digital spa packs for 11KW
total! (including digital programmable options) with a 75 square foot filter system,
LCD digital top side controls and a 4 HP 2 stage 220/230 VAC pump.
Included are 8
industrial cedar adjustable jets, a bottom suction intake and top skimmer for
superior filtration, and two air controllers for dual action jet massage control.
Pre plumbed and wired spa pack, filter, and pump on a plastic base (makes assembly
much quicker) Requires dedicated 230 VAC 80 Amp GFI service.

Gas Circulating System 110 VAC
This 100,000 BTU
outdoor natural gas/propane heater quickly heats any hot tub size. It runs
off 110/120 VAC and uses a small .08HP pump that draws under 2 Amps. The
tub maintains sparkling clean water by circulating the water through a 50 sq
ft filter. This system is popular for those that only limited 110/120 VAC
electricity available (No 220/240 VAC available). The quiet pump and no jets
makes this an ideal soaker tub.

Gas / Electric Hybrid Heating System:
This is the most advanced gas/propane heating system on the market! It comes
complete with a 5.5 kW electric Balboa Digital Spa Pack controller with a
programmable LED touch panel to manage the Natural Gas or Propane unit . This
systems allows the user to easily change the heating source by selecting one of
three configurations:
Only gas heat
Only electric heat
Both gas and electric heat simultaneously
This hybrid system allows users the greatest flexibility in energy choice and
cost control by allowing the user to simply flick a switch and change the
heating source from gas to electric or both.
The hybrid system automatically provides a built in back up system and because
of the electric option, it can be used in colder climates where gas heaters
are often not recommended to be used during freezing conditions. This heating
system includes all the amenities of our standard digital electric system
(filter, 1. 5 Hp pump 4 jets, skimmer, two bottom suctions, dual air controls)
but uses a 100,000BTU input (~24 kW) gas or propane heater to give additional
heating power.
The digital control pack is the single source of power and manages all aux
units such as pumps, lights, ozone and electric ignition for gas heater.

Option #4: Wood Fired Chofu Heater
This Chofu
model is a precision built wood-burning water heater designed
specifically for hot tubs. It circulates water using the principal of
Thermosiphon (the pumping action created by rising hot water),
eliminating the need for a circulating pump or electricity.
This unique feature opens up a whole new
range of alternatives for hot tubs. Now you can have a basic soaking tub
without pumps, chemicals, or high maintenance. We recommend the optional
Chofu filter system for those people that want cleaner water without
having to frequently drain the tub

There are quite
a few options and upgrades and accessories available for your
cedar hot tub.
Note: When
purchasing the Base Hot Tub, all plumbing and electrical components are exposed. You are
expected to custom build the skirting, covers, stairs and railing. (see images below) By
purchasing the Deluxe Package you are getting a complete package that, when
assembled, needs nothing else except you in the hot tub! Also, by purchasing the
Deluxe Package, you know that the cedar comes from one source and will closely match in
color and texture. (cedar can vary in color and texture from one region to another) The
Base Tub is suitable for integration into a deck or for a the "do-it-yourself"
person that wants to customize the surrounding of the hot tub. Also, both the Base Hot Tub
and the Base + Deluxe Package includes a pre-assembled skid pack that includes the
pre-plumbing and wiring of the pump, filter, and heater on a plastic skid plate. This
makes assembly for you much easier!

Standard
warranty is three (3) years on the tub and electrical components. Warranty resolution is
done via overnight shipment of replacement parts directly to you. For more information or

►Additional Information
All
our stave come from the factory at 47" however we can make the tubs shorter at no
additional charge should a customer request. Total height of the hot tub is 48"
off the ground.
Electrical
Service applies to electric heated systems with 5.5KW heater and 1-3 HP pump. Gas
systems can be configured to run on 120 VAC 15A GFD. Chofu systems do not need any
electrical requirements unless a filter system is used.
All
electric systems come in either Canadian/US (230VAC/60Hz) and European (220VAC/50Hz)
supplies and codes. The customer is responsible for the electrical hookup (usually 30A
or 40A 2P GFI) This will require an electrical contractor which should be budgeted
into the overall cost. You will also have to budget for creating a flat foundation to
place the tub on.
